Weight Grading Baker Potatoes The machine was designed and patented by Alan Peebles. It is the only weight grader designed to cater for both washed and dry brushed potatoes. The design of the machine is electro pneumatic and is totally controlled by PLC and "Touch Screen". The fubers are indexed from the hopper up and through the singulating system to the weighing mechanism. The weighing mechanism decides which of the six weight grades the Fuber should be diverted into. Selection of weights is very flexible and output on two heads on an average weight of 275 grammes can reach 3 tonnes per hour. Again multiple head machines are available.
